Tor set up with the PP SSH Manager works. You can even make your local Tor browser working over that, some kind of "Tor over Tor" connections. Seems very good, butthen you have no control on the topology of your paths inside the Tor network. There could be bifurcations, loops, and oyher singularities making you more identifiable.
Vielleicht verstehe ich etwas falsch, wie man Tor Browser über den PP SSH Manager benutzt.
Hier ist meine Firefox Konfiguration:
Wenn ich auf check-ip gehe, dann steht da "You are NOT using Perfect Privacy".

Your exit node being a Tor non PP one, it is normal that PP IPs test says that your are using Tor, and not using PP. That's what the PP server test sees when you perform the tests.
To test if the Tor connection goes through the PP SSH server you are using, simply close the PP SSH Manager, and test whether or not your Tor connection is still working.
There are much more geeky methods of course.

Ich benutze den Tor Browser ohne Tor!
Geht ganz einfach:
In den Browser eintippen und auf false stellen:
about:config?filter=network.proxy.socks_remote_dns
Foxyproxy als Addon nehmen und auf folgendes stellen:
Foxyproxy Default localhost auf on und den Port vom SSH manger dort eintragen.
Und schon läuft der Tor Browser über den SSH Manager.
Als Zusatz habe ich noch Privacy Badger und Ublock Origin als Addons.
Die Idee dabei Tor over SSH zu betreiben ist, dass der erste Tor Node nicht weiss wer Du bist falls die Tor Nodes überwacht werden. Bei einem IP check/ Speed Check wirst Du immer nur die Tor Adresse des exit Nodes sehen.
Ist nichts anderes als eine Kaskade.
Um zu testen ob Dein Tor Browser wirklich über SSH geleitet wird brauchst Du doch blos im SSH Clienten die Verbindung trennen.
Bekommt der Tor Browser nun keine Verbindung mehr funktioniert die Umleitung ueber 127.0.0.1
Kannst natürlikch den Tor Browser auch ohne Tor Netzwerk verwenden wie von @Topse beschrieben. Dann entfällt halt die zusätzliche Sicherheit des Tor Netzwerkes, bzw wirst auch keine .onion Seiten mehr aufrufen können.
