Answered: Steinsel servers appear in Germany

Hi,

From several days when you connected to the Steinsel servers these appear in Germany (Berlin)

I have tried several ip tracking sites but all agree that these servers are in Germany.

Even the dns Steinsel appear in Germany!

why?

Unfortunately this will never be reliable as different sites and services use different methods to "determine" the location. For instance, Google looks what the most common language settings are for any given IP among many other things.

Maybe the IPs changed recently and they were previously related to Berlin.
However IPs are not related to a fixed location thus you can't rely on that. There are often mistakes determing that.
Even if you had a chinese IP and the majority of users were german (german language in browser) it would be identified as a german IP

Dont know what site you use. But on every site 94.242.xxx.xxx IPs are related to Root SA, Luxembourg... So definitly no german IP. Oh and dont use whoer.net their are always wrong.

Hi,

I use different sites for more accurate results

But now the problem (lasting many days) seems to be resolved

the connection is now correctly seen in Luxembourg
