Stealth vpn on android just doesnt work.

I was hoping someone could help me. I used to use ssldroid with openvpn by arne schwab to successfully use stealth VPN on my android phone, but ssldroid no longer exists. My employer stopped blocking openvpn for a number of years and i had no need for it, but have recently began blocking vpn use again.

I've followed each step in each of the tutorials, but I've had no luck. Openvpn connect used in the tutorials simply won't connect to any server, preventing me from adjusting any settings to enable stealthvpn. Is there an updated tutorial available somewhere that I havnt found? Is stealth vpn no longer supported? The pp vpn manager only uses ipsec which is blocked by my employer and by many other local business's as the environment become more hostile towards vpn use. Hence my interest in stealthvpn. I don't want anyone snooping on my internet use and would rather give up net use entirely while in such locations, rendering ppvpn almost useless as I can only use it from home.

Can anyone guide me through setting up a functional stealthvpn that isnt already covered in the tutorials? Those tutorials only lead to a dead end with non functioning vpn.

Well i guess I figured it out myself. Edit the Ovpn server that was generated under the stealth vpn configurator, under the server list tab enable proxy authentication and enter your credentials for each server. Seems to work.

Can you exactly describe what you did to make it work? What do you mean by "under the server list tab"?

@nutzer and lucy:
So first I use openvpen for android by arne schwab.
I configured my .ovpn files here: https://www.perfect-privacy.com/en/customer/download/openvpn?system=android
Settings are set like this:
Openvpn
2.4
Stealth vpn http
AES-128-GCM (though I'm sure other algos will work)
TLS-auth
Online
City
Zip

Once downloaded extract the contents of the zip file. Open ovpn and import the desired servers using the + at the top and name it. Once imported use the pencil on the left to edit. Move to the server list tab and it should list all possible servers connected to that profile. In each server in that profile, in the proxy section enable proxy authentication and fill in your pp credentials on each server in the list. I think I had to close out of the ovpn app and reload it before it started working.

I'm no proffesional and not very versed on vpn usage so im fairly certain there are other and better configurations to use. If anyone has a better way im open to hearing it.

Lol a couple edits: ovpn configurator should have inline...not online.
And the pencil is on the right.
Thanks. It worked for me. I do not know which server you use, but are experiencing too that you are connected to a specific server but you cannot connect to any webpages? I am experiencing this with "Duesseldorf" and "Zurich".

No issues connecting to web pages here. I use erfert, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and los angelese. The only time I have issues connecting to any particular website is when they dont allow vpn usage on their site...like Netflix or reddit
