Serverstats - Current information about the servers

Hello everyone. We have just been informed that there will soon be a hardware upgrade for the Basel1 core routers.
Timeframe: 29.08.2024 00:00 - 06:00 UTC +02:00
We will have a downtime of about 60 minutes on this server.

Both Basel1 and Basel2 are still on maintenance, when should they come back?
That's difficult to say. Please be patient and access another server. The data centres are usually not so easy to reach at weekends. If a swiss server is needed, Zurich 123 is an option. Thank you for your understanding.

It seems some certificate has expired on London1

The Riga server has been painfully slow the last few weeks, taking 12 minutes to download an 85MB file. Can you @PP Christian please check what's going on?

I already posted in some other german topic that there are a lot of servers under maintenane. Maybe they can check these too.

Maybe they are in holidays and forgot to tell us (like some times in the past).

Soon: all servers under maintenance, I assume. No news, no responses to user inquiries. You advertise yourselves as "premium," yet nothing here feels premium. If you can’t hire anyone, maybe you should sell the business while it’s still worth something and while we old users remember that you used to be truly premium.

They answered in the german forum, that there was vacation and some sick admins.
And yes, we talked in the past about hiring more people. But PP is safe, and they don't hire people they don't know. It's always possible that some unknown new person is a spy from the government, and yes, that happend to many underground projects like the Bunker aka "Der Bunker" and apparently some other.

Also we're here not at the Streaming-VPN or torrenting VPN, but privacy VPN. If you look in the VPN mangager point Log-files, you can expand the part of what should be sent and what not. I'm on the german version, so I don't know the english text, but something like "...people whose life and freedom depents on a working VPN...". The 1,99 bucks VPN doesn't give you this safety btw. So it's not as easy like the other VPNs to get new personel.

Really? So you're telling us that streaming/torrenting or circumventing geo-blocks is not the purpose of this service. Dude, that is an incredibly ridiculous statement you made. I don't know of any other VPN service that tells its customers what they can and cannot do with their subscription.

Also, I don't give a shit if some guys get sick because I have a contract with PP and I expect things to work properly. Period.

Of course you can do what you want. I'm not part of the team, I'm just telling that the main purpose is privacy here. I also won't stop someone to drive in his Ferrari offroads in the woods.
