Hi Perfect Privacy ,

I'm using OpenVPN on Android 8.0 and after downloading the config files for Camellia encryption I get the below error in the log when attempting to connect.

2018-12-11 10:46:15 Cipher algorithm 'CAMELLIA-128-CBC' not found

2018-12-11 10:46:15 MGMT: Got unrecognized command>FATAL:Cipher CAMELLIA-128-CBC not supported

2018-12-11 10:46:15 Cipher CAMELLIA-128-CBC not supported

Is there something else I need to be able to use this cipher on Android?

OpenVPN for Android version is from Google Play, 0.7.7.

I should add that this also occurs with the 256 version of the Camellia cipher.

I purchased the "OpenVPN Client" by colucci-web.it on the Google Play store and this seems to have support for the Camellia ciphers. It seems that there is no support in the "OpenVPN for Android" app.

Just thought I'd let people know if they ran into the same issue.

Yes, currently Camelia is not supported in OpenVPN for Android. Hopefully this will come in the future.

I also need a guide to use all VPN ciphers and always on VPN with openvpn protocols on android. Please provide us a guide. I own VPN Client Pro from Colucci-web.it. I am talking about android pie here.
