What the hell is going on here?!

Even the servers that are online aren't working properly. My FreshTomato router can barely connect to any of them now. It seems like the configuration needs updating, but who’s going to do that? This company feels like it's on autopilot, just waiting for everything to shut down.

I've been a customer for almost 15 years! I would have left long ago if I didn't remember how great the support used to be. But if this keeps up, I won’t have any choice but to look for another VPN provider – and honestly, I’ll have no other option because THIS ISN'T WORKING!
 
Came here to complain that frequent disconnections still occur after 5 days,
now I see that we just need to "Deal with it!"...
I don't exactly know what everybody meant here, but in the german language, there are sometimes problems with the stuf you say, you meand and sometimes problems with the translations. Let's just look at this picture and you know. (But maybe we don't have to weight one's word.

Selbst die Server, die online sind, funktionieren nicht richtig. Mein FreshTomato-Router kann sich kaum noch mit einem von ihnen verbinden. Es scheint, dass die Konfiguration aktualisiert werden muss, aber wer soll das tun? Dieses Unternehmen scheint wie auf Autopilot zu laufen und nur darauf zu warten, dass alles abgeschaltet wird.

Ich bin seit fast 15 Jahren Kunde! Ich wäre schon längst gegangen, wenn ich mich nicht daran erinnert hätte, wie gut der Support früher war. Aber wenn das so weitergeht, werde ich keine andere Wahl haben, als mich nach einem anderen VPN-Anbieter umzusehen - und ehrlich gesagt werde ich keine andere Wahl haben, denn DAS FUNKTIONIERT NICHT!

Ich weiß nicht genau, was jeder hier gemeint hat, aber in der deutschen Sprache gibt es manchmal Probleme mit dem, was man sagt, was man meint, und manchmal Probleme mit den Übersetzungen. Schauen wir uns einfach dieses Bild an und ihr wisst Bescheid. (Aber vielleicht müssen wir nicht jedes Wort gewichten).

Meine bescheidene Aussage dazu: Ob nun Tomate oder Birne, die Entscheidung welchen Router Du nutzt liegt bei Dir und wenn es da Kompatibilitätsprobleme gibt ist der Routerhersteller zuerst gefragt.

Für deren Soft und Hardware ist PP nicht zuständig.;)



My humble comment on this: Whether tomato or pear, the decision as to which router you use is up to you and if there are compatibility problems, the router manufacturer should be asked first.


PP is not responsible for their software and hardware.;)
 
Can you please explain want you mean by "Things work differently for us".
We are a small team and have been doing everything we can to protect your privacy for over 10 years. We do not log anything and even offer unlimited simultaneous connections. We are the only ones who do this and don't even track it. But we are a small team and don't have hundreds of employees (which is also a feature). But we are also normal people with families who have to go on holiday sometimes.
That's what I meant by ‘Deal with it’. That can't be avoided.
 
However my opinion has been changing in the last year,
currently I'm very discontent with the service as is...

- Android - Official Client: Completely unable to connect with any servers since around Christmas 2024,
barely any response from the PP team, and the German thread about it going haywire ever since. Even more unacceptable!
- Android - OpenVPN Client: Works for the time being, but leads to connection issues when switching between mobile network and WiFi.
- Windows - Official Client: Old client was very slow in making connection,
and did not automatically update to the new client.
New client broke my internet interface so badly,
that I had to uninstall and reset the adapters to be able to re-connect with the internet without VPN..
- Windows - OpenVPN Client: Often fails to connect, leading to manually needing to switch the default VPN used during system startup.

I'm really getting tired of all these issues,
especially since we're paying an expensive premium for this barely working service...
Yeah same sentiment here.
- 2 week outage over xmas and it was clear nobody was monitoring anything and everyone was on vacation
- Android App needs to be installed manually now and has connection issues, just loses connection. this was not an issue up till the xmas outage
- Android openvpn similar, constantly loses connection and needs manual reconnect
- Window openvpn, works but if pc goes in hibernate, can never reconnect, must manually disconnet and reconnect

Nothing premium about this and it screams there are issues with the whole setup and subotipmal configurations.

I mean technical issues can happen but it's then treated with arrgoance and concerns dismissed. So I do have a feeling almost everything was automated and being milked for as long as possible with as little effort as possible. it might not be true but it feels that way.
 
unrespectfull what you did write here . pp is the most safe provider on the public market.
because of pp many persons can make a lot of money.
you know by yourself that you can write a dm on to the admin , but you write here public to push the team a little, this is what you want do right?

sometimes things happen, they fixed it and all will be fine
