Hi,

I can't connect to any servers no matter which one I try. Some go round the connecting loop and fail others just stall and then the interface goes very slow.

This is the second time I have had this problem within 2 months and I getting rather annoyed with it, as I pay good money for the service.

I know that my account is good as I have signed in to 'My Account' & I can connect with the app on my Android phone with no issues.

Yestereday I went on to Spain and now connect via WiFi rather than a physical Ethernet connection.

I can see my connection to the WWW when the VPN is disconnected.

Other than this nothing has changed.

I have reinstalled the latest "Perfect_Privacy_Setup.exe", but this doesn't fix the problem (it did last time I had this issue).

Can some kind person help me please as I'm completely lost where to go now.

I'm currently running Windows Home version 24H2 if it helps.

Regards

Steve

I'm having the same problem as of yesterday. Had the exact same problem Sept 2 as well and it was fixed in a few days. No explanation from PP on what is causing it. At first it was on my windows pc's but I could connect still on android, but then the next day I couldn't connect on android either.

Perfect Privacy should at least make a statement that they are having problems so that end users don't screw around for hours thinking that its a problem with their system on their end before finding out many others are experiencing the same problem. Even it they don't know what is causing it they could at least say that and that they are working on it instead of keeping customers completely in the dark.

Among VPN providers, PP is like Russian roulette.

Make your decision, live with it, or switch providers.

As a user, you have the upper hand.;)
I disagree about the Russian Roulette. I'm not sure how long you have been using PP but I have been using it since its inception in 2009 and it has been pretty solid the majority of the time with only a few hiccups in many years.

Well, I used it for more than 10 years, but since 2024 it has really been more of a nightmare than a blessing.
There is also no reason to gloss over the shortcomings that have continued to occur regularly since then.
But everyone has their own opinion on the matter—live with it or leave it.

I'm finding it very dissapoingting that, like other PP users, I pay good money for a service that, for me, frustratingly breaks with no indicatrion or explantion. All I ask is that I'm provided with a solution, so that I can continue using the service THAT I PAY FOR !!!. I'm very dissapointed. I would welcome a member of PP's response & a solution to this, as I'm close to requesting a refund and going elsewhere for my VPN services. JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Well Guido I think you are right. Stay or leave the provider, it's your choice. I'm sad to say that after almost 16 years of PP I am tired of the issues in the past year. I am going to take a hiatus from PP and give Mulvad a go. Just so tired of days on end of no vpn service that I have paid for with no explanations.
I think the break could well become permanent, because the recurring problems cannot be accepted or tolerated.
There are plenty of better alternatives without any problems.

best regards

Has anyone asked for a refund?

To me PP are NOT providing a service for which they are charging for - I thnk I will check if they are in breach of contract.

Really unhappy with the terrible service I'm having from PP.
7-day deadline, so honestly, you won't get anything back.
Others are already upset about it.;)

Thanks for your comments - appreciated.

I'm fed up with PP not working properly.

In my opinion if you pay for a service a legal contract is been established between the supplier & the client and failure to adhere to this is a breach.

I am now considering requesting a refund as the service is so poor as to constitute a breach "in my opinion".

Why PP can't just tell its customers that it is having issues and give an indication as to how long it thinks it will be until its fixed I don't know.

I think this is very unprofessional.

Everything has been said, so why are you still arguing? It's pointless.

It doesn't change anything about the failure, arrogance, and conceit of the operator construct.

There are still enough idiots out there who will pay for it.

You won't change anything by staying where you are. Switch providers and make a statement.

All other approaches can only be successful if people join forces. ;)

Hi guido2311,

I have to say I feel your comments are somewhat insensitive to me.

It's easy to say change, I agree, but when you have paid for another year (recently) it's difficult to throw that money away.

Maybe this helps towards the reason for my comments.

I would have hoped that this forum would have been a supportive & constructive one, not one to insult fellow users.
