Beantwortet: VPN Manager nach Windows Update ständiges Connection reset, restarting [-1]

ich habe bei mir seit gestern ein merkwürdiges verhalten vom VPN Manager festgestellt. Es wird keine Verbindung mit dem PP Servern aufgebaut und der Manager versucht ständig die Verbindung zu resetten.

Dieses Verhalten in der Form hatte ich noch nie und es muss an der Konfiguration von meinem Betriebssystem liegen.

Habe schon einiges leider ohne Erfolg versucht:

Externes Antivirus (Kaspersky) gelöscht und Windows Firewall zurückgesetzt - ohne Erfolg.
VPN Manager deinstalliert, Betriebssystem neugestartet, Windows Firewall zurückgesetzt und VPN Manager installiert - ohne Erfolg.
Windows Netzwerk zurückgesetzt manuell und durch Windows - ohne Erfolg.

Auch die Troubleshooting für Windows 10 auf der PP Anleitungsseite, welche teilweise die gleichen Schritte enthalten, die ich schon selber ausprobiert habe, sind leider ohne Erfolg geblieben.

Was auf jeden passiert ist, dass Microsoft ein Tag davor (Freitag) ein Update ohne mein zutun aufgespielt und das Betriebssystem neugestartet hat, das hat mich zwar gewundert und gestört, habe aber gleich an die neue Sicherheitslücke „Log4j“ gedacht und das Microsoft diese so kritische gesehen hat, dass das Update sofort und ohne wenn und aber installiert sein muss…


Zu dem Zeitpunkt hing der Rechner auch über Netzwerkkabel am Internet und VPN Manager hatte ohne Probleme funktioniert, seit gestern bin ich aber wieder über WLAN mit dem Internet verbunden und das oben beschriebene Problem ist jetzt eben vorhanden.



Ich wäre euch für weitere Tipps sehr Dankbar.

hast du im pp-manager das netzwerk resetet? damit werden die netzwerkadapter (TAP) wieder neu aufgesetzt. behebt (warum auch immer diesen recursiv routing scheiss)?!

Hast du evtl. stealth vpn aktiviert im pp-manager ? dann kommt man nicht auf jeden server als eingangsserver drauf, wird leider aber angezeigt. Falls ja, mach das aus oder connecte zu einem anderen server
bei eingeschaltetem stealth kommt immer dieser wait wait wait wait scheiss bis du schwarz wirst. schaltest du stealth vpn aus kommste auf jeden server drauf (eingangsserver).

das mit dem Stealth war es wohl gewesen, vielen Dank :)!

Hab´s zwar sein ca. 2 Jahren nichts mehr im VPN Manager eingestellt/verstellt, aber Sachen gibt´s:confused:...
Hab die Funktion einmal reaktiviert und nun geht´s wieder.
