Problem PP connection manager with Lubuntu

hi ,
1- i have installed pp-connection manager successfully on Lubuntu
but when i execute it nothing happen .. on ubuntu theres no problem. but i want stay on Lubuntu.

i got the email answer
now i untderstand .

one other quistion .

assuming i have vmware lokal host = win7 and guest=linux
assuming i want only work with linux.

so where is better to change dns plus fix dns leak ..on guest or on host or on both ?
