Answered: PPtP and OpenVPN

To gain maximum privacy I wanted to connect first to one PPtP VPN IP and then to another one with OpenVPN. Seems like that doesn't work, somewhere is a mixup and OpenVPN doesn't seem to get internet access, only the first connection works.
Of course, separately everything works fine.

I am hoping to find some help here :)

Hi,

it doesn't work like that since you tried to have two VPN solutions (which both act as default route while active) running simultaneously. Hence you can only have one default route, this won't work. Take OpenVPN as it is the crypthographically safer solution. If you feel like you need to cascade servers, you could use an additional SSH2 tunnel with a proxy.
