Beantwortet: Perfect Privacy über Gastzugang

Hallo

ich verbinde mich derzeit lediglich mit der Fritzbox über einen Gastzugang zum Internet.
Das Problem ist nur sobald ich den VPN dazu schalte bricht die Verbindung zum Internet ab, ich kann dann keinerlei Seiten mehr aufrufen. Gibt es einen Weg dies zu beheben?

Wenn du den Manager nutzt, dann wirst du dort wohl VPN über HTTP schieben müssen. Dazu gehst du in die Einstellungen in den Reiter Cascading und aktivierst unten die Proxyfunktion. Als Protokoll gibst du dort HTTP an. Also Port 443. Dann nimmst du als Domain einen anderen Server als den mit dem du via VPN connecten möchtest. Beide sollten aber in der Nähe sein, damit das Routing nicht so ewaig lang wird. Du nimmst also zum Beispiel rotterdam1.perfect-privacy.com.
Weiter unten dann noch mal deine PP-Nutzerdaten eingeben.

Habe ich nun genau so versucht jedoch kommt unter den Einstellungen eine VPN Verbindung nicht zustande. Hier nochmal das Log:

Das funktioniert soweit. Danke für die Hilfe. Denke das ist solange mir lediglich der Gastzugang zur Verfügung steht eine passable Lösung. Jedenfalls liegt es damit nicht an PP. Großes Lob für den Support hier.

Trage dann im LAN-Adapter unter IPv4 als DNS-Server 8.8.8.8 ein. Das macht den DNS-Leak auch zu. Ist immer die Alternative zur Option im Manager :)
