Will the Connection of the Host MAchine be encrypted too, if the Open VPN Manager is running on the Host System?

I am using the Open VPN Manager Beta for Linux.

Thanks

Hi,

this entirely depends on your setup, so there is no yes or no type answer without some more details on your configuration. Whether traffic of an OS running in a VM gets routed though the VPN depends on the (virtual) network setup. If set up correctly the traffic of the host machine will get routed through the VPN, as it would without having any VM installed at all. Traffic from anything running in a VM however might be treated differntly, depending on your setup.
