I created a ticket for this problem, If you see the problem too, please add your comments.

Using PP-VPN on several PC's and the DNS Leak Test Hangs on all PC's.
It worked ok a few weeks ago on all PC's, but now hangs.
I suspect that Openvpn has changed something as ALL PC's show
/usr/bin/openvpn dated as APR 27.

Linux Mint 20.1, Kubuntu 20.04 show openvpn --version = 2.4.7
Linux Mint 19.3 shows openvpn --version = 2.4.4

NOTE: all PC's show the same date for openvpn, regardless of version.
Tried reinstalling openvpn & resolvconf, but DNS still Leaks, and the test hangs.
Tried https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ to confirm problem and yes it leaks.

Please provide a fix....

Problem believed to be ISP cable provider. Problem fixed.
I was advised that the DNS Leak test has been tweaked to avoid the hang on future problems.
Thanks.

I turned my DHCP on auto and the dnsleaktest hung. You need to manually set it but I'm assuming you probably did that. If your ISP is forcing the dns redirection to them then I don't know what to tell you never had that happen. https://www.perfect-privacy.com/en/customer/download/dns?system=linux
