Answered: Are the Amsterdam servers blocked by Real-Debrid.com ?

It appears that real-debrid.com (RD) has blocked the Amsterdam servers.

When connected to Amsterdam.ovpn, streaming in Kodi from RD links fails.

If for example 15 RD links are listed in a Kodi addon, they are all skipped and the first non-premium link starts playing.

When not connected to a vpn server, or to London.ovpn the same RD links play.
We didn’t even close Kodi. On desktops, laptops and htpc, we just hit Ctrl+C in the same terminal to disconnect from Amsterdam, and try without vpn, and then London vpn. As soon as we connected back to Amsterdam vpn, RD links were skipped again, everywhere in Kodi.

We tried with Planet MMA, Covenant, and Genesis Reborn Kodi Addons on 6 devices and our ISP’s modem+router.

Before we found out, we even reinstalled everything in Kodi on all 6 devices.

I realise that the Amsterdam servers are busy bees. But it would be nice to have them unblocked. They give us the fastest speeds because it’s our hometown.

Solution
Hi.

It looks like real-debrid manually whitelists IP addresses from VPN providers that don't provide a list of their server addresses. You can check your current address at https://real-debrid.com/vpn
To request a whitelist, go to https://real-debrid.com/support, select "VPN" and follow the instructions.

Maybe PP could also provide them with a list of addresses and move into the "Cooperative VPN providers" list. But who wants a "Cooperative VPN provider" anyway? :)

@MixMaster @PP Stephan Thanks to both of you for helping out. All is working like a champ again now.
And thanks for the VPN check page. We never knew it existed because we only sparsely visit their website. Only to pay for an extension. We joined them just for use with Kodi. The rest of their services are wasted on us.
